The castle has a neoclassical architectural style and was built in 1784-1785 by order of the magistrate Henri De Villers. In 1997 it was used as office space. The castle, which had since become neglected, was renovated in the period 2017-2019 with more than 2.7 million euros in government subsidies and converted into a restaurant with meeting rooms.[1]
