The Bodenwiese is a beautiful high meadow in the Gahns area and a popular destination for hikers around Payerbach and Reichenau an der Rax. The ascent is sometimes steep, but is rewarded with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and forests. A worthwhile rest stop offering a true connection with nature and a magnificent panorama.
