The Bodenwiese is an extensive forest clearing in the municipality of Bürg-Vöstenhof in the Neunkirchen district in Lower Austria.
It is located west of Bürg and Vöstenhof im Gahns, a large mountain plateau southeast of the Schneeberg, with the Bodenwiese opening up the plateau in a north-south direction and, with an area of 97 hectares, is also the largest alpine meadow in Lower Austria. The Waldburgangerhütte is located at the southern end of the meadow.
Between July and September 1944, Hungarian Jews were quartered on the Bodenwiese and forced to do forced labor. During this time they repaired forest roads. After the work was completed, they were moved to the Stixenstein camp.
