The historic pump house (also called Radhaus) in Roggenburg is located on the eastern edge of the Stiftweiher pond and houses a fully functional pumping system that was put into operation in 1639. The iron water wheel, with a diameter of 5.40 m, once transported the water of the Biberbach stream to the water tower on the hill.
