    The Adige Valley Cycle Path
1st stage: from Reschen to Meran
The first section leads from Reschen to Meran. The Adige Valley Cycle Path runs through the Vinschgau and the Meraner Land, through orchards, apple orchards and picturesque villages. The stage destination is the sophisticated spa town of Meran with its Mediterranean flair. The thermal baths invite you to relax after a hard day on the saddle and give you new strength for the next stage.

Very nice bike path along the Adige. You do not have to concentrate too much and can enjoy the awesome view of the mountains. You can also take the bike shuttle to the Reschensee and then ride the bike path comfortably towards Merano, as it goes downhill in this direction (from 1500 meters above sea level at the Reschenpass to 300 meters in Merano - distance: 86 km). Not to be underestimated, however, is the headwind :-). Even if it always goes downhill, you still have to pedal hard from time to time.

Always a nice tour. However, next time we save the way to Bolzano. Along the train is this little appealing.
