The Mardorfer parish church presents itself as a festive hall, the nave of which opens in a basket arch to the retracted chancel. The focal point and central object of the interior is the multi-storey high altar made of stucco marble, executed by Christoph Jagemann between 1736 and 1737, which takes up the entire east wall of the chancel in height and width.
