The Refuge can be reached via a steep but asphalted road.
The property is located right above the Val Veny, the view is exceptional.

The rifugio can be easily reached via an asphalt road that is also open to motor vehicle traffic. This means that the driveway for us bikers is sometimes heavily frequented by cars.
The rifugio is beautifully situated above the Val Veny and offers a great view of the valley and the opposite Mont Blanc. You have sun on the terrace until late in the evening.

      description

The Rifugio Monte Bianco (also Rifugio Monte Bianco CAI-UGET) is a refuge in the Aosta Valley in the Graian Alps. It is located at an altitude of 1700 m in the Val Veny side valley within the municipality of Courmayeur on the area known as La Fodze. The hut is open from the beginning of December to the end of March and from mid-June to mid-September, and during this time it offers sleeping places for 71 climbers.

The refuge is approached from Courmayeur on the left via a steep road. At the beginning there is a no entry sign. Cars drive through nonstop. From the Refugio the balcony trail starts with an incredible ramp to the top. From here I rolled back down to Val Veny to follow the gravel path. There is also a no entry sign here and behind it a bicycle route sign. So it seems to only apply to cars, the police were behind the sign and warned parked vehicles. I rode past on my bike unmolested.
