Water birds in particular love the Thülsfeld dam in the middle of Lower Saxony. You can observe them in many places on a bike tour around the dam. The reservoir has been around since 1924. It was created because the Soeste River was often flooded.

Beautiful cycle path around the entire dam. Drives very well. Man enjoying a beautiful nature.
