The Aachen architects Bachmann built the largest umbrella factory in Europe in 1928 on the corner of Lombardenstrasse and Jülicherstrasse in Bauhaus style for the manufacturer Emil Brauer. In 1991, the Ludwig Collection, which had been housed in the Neue Galerie, was moved here. So the building is not only worth seeing from the outside! More information: ludwigforum.de.
