The signposted trail ends at the natural monument of the Peña del Arcipreste de Hita, a group of curious granite rocks where two large inscriptions appear. One of them is the stanza of the famous meeting between the poet and the shepherdess, and below it “Walker in this port one morning in March 1329”. The upper recording is a dedication: “1330/1930. "To the Archpriest of Hita, singer of this mountain range, who tasted the waters of the river of good love."

One of the most impressive features of the Peña de Arcipreste de Hita is the granite stones at the top. In these we find inscriptions from other periods, embroidered on the same rock.
