    Hiking

A suggestive place with snow. The path going up from the San Primo side disappears under the white mantle but you can still find a way to reach the top, from there the view of Bellagio is enchanting.

    Hiking

The top of Mount Nuvolone is wooded. It can be reached from the namesake nozzle following an unmarked ridge path or from a branch of the marked path in correspondence with a clearing with a farmhouse. The real panorama can be enjoyed from the bellavista below. On the ridge path, however, there are glimpses of the hill of Lavedo - the Balbianello peninsula

    Hiking

This elevation is better known for the viewpoint towards Bellagio and the upper Lario than for the actual, wooded peak.

    970m

Embark on the Monte Nuvolone – loop from Lezzeno, a challenging hike that rewards you with magnificent panoramic views of Lake Como. This hard route covers 6.7 miles (10.8 km) with a significant elevation gain of 3188 feet (972 metres), typically taking around 5 hours and 29 minutes to complete. You will traverse varied terrain, including alpine paths and dense chestnut groves, leading to the renowned Belvedere area, which offers breathtaking 180° vistas of the lake and surrounding mountains.

This trail demands very good fitness, sure-footedness, and sturdy shoes due to continuously steep sections and varied surfaces that can be slippery with roots and pebbles. While mostly accessible, some parts of the path may have crumbling edges, protected by tree trunks. Be prepared for a strenuous climb, and consider your alpine experience, especially if attempting this route outside of ideal conditions.

Beyond the stunning lake views, the route features unique points of interest like Cascina Dosdegno, a well-kept farmhouse with a vegetable garden, and the Casate Spring and Washhouse, where you can find water directly from a spring. You will also pass by a small natural cave housing madonnine, known as "Madonna del Fungiatt." This loop offers a deep dive into the diverse landscapes of the Triangolo Lariano, blending lakeside charm with mountainous terrain.
