Popular with surfers and separated from the mainland by the River Lossie, Lossiemouth East Beach is a scenic delight.

If you're lucky, you might spot seals basking on the sand, whilst the sight of the the long, orange bill of the oystercatcher is common. Your chances of seeing Moray's bottlenose dolphins are best in summer and on a rising tide.

An iconic, though somewhat archaic, bridge links the beach to Seatown but has been closed for some time. In September 2020 a contractor was secured to repair the bridge. Until repairs are complete, anyone completing the Moray Coast Trail will need to take a detour, taking the bridge crossing off the itinerary.

Vast sand dunes and smooth shoreline, popular with surfers, swimmers, and paddlers. Accessible via the new bridge at the end of the river.
