you go oneho over the historical area. Solid brick architecture of the poor houses, founded before 1800 together with other locations in Württemberg Hohenzollern, which later became institutions for the physically and mentally handicapped. The social legislation of the Bismark Empire was a great advance for the poor and the disabled. Under the Nazi Socialists, the disabled were assessed solely on the basis of their ability, whether they could participate in the work process in a relevant way, if not their "life not worth living" was forcibly ended in one of the extermination centers such as in Grafeneck. A memorial to the right of the entrance reminds the names of the home workers.
