The northwestern section of the Levada Nova is characterized by a lot of calm. The hikes here are almost meditative. This section can be easily connected to the Pico Vermelho and the Cabo (chapel).

The approx. 40 km long Levada Nova ends here. From here it goes steeply down (Madeira just😉) to the chapel at Cabo.
