It is a nice refuge, located at the bottom of the Clarée valley at 2,180 meters above sea level. Warm atmosphere, home cooking, board games and books available: everything is there to make you have a good time! It is possible to eat at the refuge, and to spend the night there.

Refuge des Drayères has been a trusted checkpoint since our very first edition in 2023, a quiet mountain outpost after the most demanding section of the day. In 2023, riders reached it soaked and shivering through thick fog and rain; in 2024, snow and biting wind made the approach even tougher. What will 2025 bring? Whatever the weather, the refuge remains the same: a safe haven, a warm welcome, and a moment to pause before the journey continues.
