Tips
You are now in the only inhabited village in the French part of the Vallée Étroite. There are two shelters, public fountains, a bar-restaurant and a small chapel. An absolutely lovely place!

Be careful in high season, during the day, the upper Clarée valley is only accessible by shuttle bus. Compulsory vehicle parking at Roubion, then shuttle bus to Névache (10 min free journey). For those who want to continue higher in the valley other than on foot, change at Névache in front of the tourist office for shuttles (paying with several possible stops) to the Laval terminus (highest point in the valley accessible by the road).
