There are four viewpoints close together on the Montagne de Sosoye. One with a bench and the most beautiful one pushed forward on a rock.

The Montagne de Sosoye reserve is located on the left slope of the Molignée valley, downstream from Maredsous Abbey. Overlooking the very picturesque village of Sosoye, this admirable hillside is one of the jewels of our natural heritage. The vegetation, absolutely remarkable, includes associations of limestone escarpments with stonecrops (Sedum spp.) and ciliated melica (Melica ciliata), xeric lawns with globular (Globularia bisnagarica) and mountain parsley (Seseli libanotis), mesophilic lawns with erect brome (Bromus erectus) and brachypodium (Brachypodium pinatum), very rich in orchids, thermophilic hems with tame-venom (Vincetoxicum hirundinaria), a calcicole oak grove as well as a strip of gully maple with centipede (Asplenium scolopendrium). The botanical interest is underlined by the presence of many rare plants in Belgium. The entomofauna is also exceptionally diverse (lepidoptera, orthoptera and hymenoptera in particular).
