Beautiful mountain lake, surrounded by steep mountains. Beautiful circular walk. A ride on the Gelmerbahn is an experience.

A circular walk around the lake has been worthwhile in any case. Unfortunately, in August 2017 there was a very large rockfall, whereby the existing paths can sometimes no longer be passed. So be sure to get information on the internet before!
Whoever plans to hike to the lake, should secure the tickets for the train ride down already at the valley station.September 3, 2017

Great mountain hike from the top station of Gelmerbahn to Gelmerhütte. On the way back take the other lake shore with you.
