Along the Val Fegana you arrive at the former Casentini refuge on a paved road, from there begins the last piece of dirt of about 7 km that takes you to the Foce al Giovo which is the highest Apennine pass in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, go up with an average slope of 5/7% almost all of it in the woods so it is nice and cool even in summer also because it reaches 1674 meters above sea level.
