The Mariagrot is a Lourdes cave near Bemelen in the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten in the Dutch province of Limburg. The Maria cave on the Kategrub / Bosweg road is located southeast of Bemelen and northeast of the Sint Antoniusbank in Bemelerbos. The forest with the cave is located on the west side of the Mettenberg on the western edge of the Margraten plateau at the transition to the Maas valley. On site, the plateau falls steeply a few meters.
The Maria cave is carved into the mountainside and surrounded by a forest, in which wild garlic blooms in spring. A niche for burning candles has been cut out on the side.
The cave is dedicated to Mary.
