On the Speckalm there is delicious bacon.
The bacon plate is highly recommended! 😋

Two great alps with great views of the Wendelstein. The ramp is really demanding. Very steep sections with three to four 1 meter gravel interruptions in the uppermost part. Presumably caused by the current construction measures at the reservoir. But it's great to drive. Towards the end you should not get off the bike anymore, otherwise you will not get on it because it just becomes mega-steep. Be careful when leaving!

You have to work hard to get to the Speckalm. If you found the Rosengasse tough, you should leave it here. The increase is at least 10%, in the upper third you should still have strength for a juicy 18% ramp. You will be rewarded at the top with a breathtaking view and, of course, an adequate refreshment stop. The only drawback: the road is also open to motorized individual traffic, so that even in a ski area at 1400m above sea level, you will encounter tourist cars and motorcycles. Really bizarre.
