Mountain biking
The Aare Sandbank Single Trail runs directly along the Aare. This area is a nature reserve, there are signs with appropriate explanations. The beginning of the trail runs through a piece of forest, for which a general driving ban applies. You should respect this and possibly start the trail outside of the "Wäldli". You drive past the sandbanks near Altreu, which - if you don't know them - you can't really make out. This section of the route is super nice and flowing, but you should be considerate of the pedestrians.
