Update 2025: The shunting yard with all the old steam train wagons has been cleared, and the empty space behind it has been fenced off with modern fencing. The odd little shortcut alongside the trains has unfortunately also disappeared.

The track is part of the Veluwe Steam Train Company. Because the steam train rarely runs, you can move relatively safely on and around the track. You can also use the unpaved path that runs alongside the track between Loenen and Beekbergen.
Near this highlight, just outside Loenen, there are a lot of old wagons – a nice stop!
