The oldest swimming pool in Loenen, built in 1920, is located near the sprinklers. The swimming pool belonged to the Groenouwe estate. The pool could be flushed with water from the sprinklers by means of ditches. This was only allowed on weekends because on weekdays the laundries needed the water. Around 1950 the bath fell into disrepair. The wall of the springboard, built from erratic stones, is still there.

A really special place in the middle of the forest. Suddenly you are standing in front of a kind of lake, which later turns out to be a swimming pool. Very cool. Be careful with the gravel bike, it is quite technical.
