Tips
I find the ascent from Erkerode to the Tetzelstein more interesting than using the Reitlingstal as a descent, because you can't enjoy the landscape as well there and the asphalt to Königslutter is much better

The Reitlingstal is great to drive and the nature is really beautiful. The ascent is a bit longer but not that steep. Good road and easy to ride with any bike.
