At Dallas Dhu Distillery, you can step back in time to see how Scotch whisky was made in the Victorian era. Opened in 1899, Dallas Dhu originally made malt whisky for the popular Roderick Dhu blend. These days, you can take a tour of the historic distillery — and have a wee dram or two, of course. As noted the distillery is closed until further notice. You can walk around and peak in the windows but not much else. Check the website to confirm. Guessing it won’t reopen over the winter season.
