The Hierdense Beek is also called the Leuvenumse Beek. It is the longest stream in the Veluwe. From the Uddelermeer to the Veluwemeer, this stream flows no less than 17 kilometers through the forests. The crystal clear water meanders along the paths. Here and there the water accelerates, creating a small waterfall. Almost un-Dutch and fairytale-like. It is the place where game comes to drink and where the kingfisher finds its food.
