Hiking
An unexpected surprise is a walk along the Blankenburg trench. It looks like a gorge with a Central European jungle around it. And it is artificially created to bring the treated wastewater from Schönerlinde to the Nordgraben. You can basically walk around it once. On the southern side you walk a little deeper in the gorge and on the northern side above. You can start either here or in Blankenfelde.

In a perfect world, the Blankenfelder Graben would be a piece of unspoilt nature. In fact, if you take a closer look, the ditch is actually a sewer. Nevertheless, the path along the trench is recommended. and for the dog lovers among us, a sensational gem anyway, which the fur noses can romp around with with impunity.
