Hiking

The Irenensee is surrounded by forests and a campsite in a 120-hectare recreational area on the B 188. To the west is the Schilfbruch nature reserve and to the north is the Fuhse-Auwald nature reserve. The approximately 14-hectare lake with a maximum water depth of four meters has a north-south extension of up to 600 meters and a west-east extension of around 350 meters.
