Braunschweiger Naturdenkmal ND-BS 27, "The purpose of protection is the preservation of valuable sub-Mediterranean, warmth-loving and semi-shady vegetation adapted to the upright glass herb."

The upright glass herb is a nettle plant, 30-60 cm high, without stinging hairs, which actually only occurs further south (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aufrechtes_Glaskraut).

According to Wikipedia, the Kreißberg is an artificially created observation mountain (also called "Scherbelberg") between 1900 and 1908, which is around 35 meters above the level of the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, the view from above is very overgrown. So only the well-tended, long spiral path with a low incline and many stinging nettle plants is remembered.
