Hiking
In large parts, the Altonaer Volkspark is more like a forest than a park: unspoilt, hilly terrain, dense tree population. What looks naturally grown today was deliberately designed that way by Ferdinand Tutenberg, the builder of the Volkspark. In the middle of the forest there is a shelter that not only offers protection from the rain and invites you to take a break, but also allows a view of the magnificent tree scenery of the forest park

Hiking
There is a fairly new refuge here, which is even identified with a QR code. However, I haven't tried what it means 😳
