    The railway line through the Albula Valley is also known as the Albula Railway Carousel. The side of the valley is constantly changed in several spiral tunnels and viaducts. The viaducts on which the Albula is crossed do not have names. They are simply numbered. Viaduct number one is particularly spectacular because after a spiral tunnel the line reappears above.
