The chapel, built in neo-Romanesque style (1894), is located along the beautiful Meuse floodplains in the smallest hamlet of Maasmechelen.
This religious heritage is a special attraction in the typical Meuse village of Leut.
The construction was commissioned in 1894 by the baronesses Georgine de Brigode and Phillippine de Villeneuve, two of the seven daughters of Charles Vilain XIIII, the last and most famous bridgecount of the castle of Leut.
