The Wasseralm is an important stopover on your tour to or from the Steinernes Meer. Plan an overnight stay here and reserve in good time. Because the Wasseralm only offers 50 beds. You can reserve at wasseralm-berchtesgaden.de. You can also read the opening hours for the current season there.
The Wasseralm is beautifully situated in a wide basin, where you can let the tranquility of the mountains work its magic on you. Too boring? Then aim for the Teufelshorn as a summit destination. You can easily reach them from here.

Very rustic DAV hut with around 50 beds. Often fully booked, so you have to make a reservation through Hüttenholiday. The hut is supplied by helicopter once a week, so the prices for food and drink are a little higher.
