At the entrance to the Fischleintal Valley, picturesque meadows dotted with numerous larches stretch out. A broad belt of larches also extends above the last farms on the slopes of Mount Helm, separating the agricultural land from the upper forest line. These larch meadows reveal their full charm, especially during the flowering season: In early summer, crocuses sprout first, followed by primroses and gentians. In midsummer, striking Turk's cap lilies, columbines, and arnica plants bloom among the colorful meadow flowers. The delicate autumn crocus completes the flowering in late summer – with it, the vegetation cycle draws to a close.
