The "Strada degli Alpini" is not technically difficult, but the exposed passages absolutely require a head for heights and surefootedness, otherwise it's no fun. Otherwise, the easily accessible rock ledge is secured by wire ropes at all difficult sections and runs along the western flank of the Elfer without any major elevation changes.
