Wyk Airfield was founded in 1926, making it one of the oldest in Schleswig-Holstein. As early as the early 1930s, today's Lufthansa operated scheduled flights from Berlin, Kiel and Hamburg to Wyk auf Föhr. The airfield has the ICAO code EDXY and has two crossed landing and take-off runways (runway 02/20: grass covering, 660 meters; runway 09/27: grass covering, 605 meters long).

We really liked the round. It goes through the forest, past the flight and golf course, then to the beach and back into the forest. A nice little round to relax.
