In addition to the Dinkholder Mill from 1675, which is still preserved, there were three other mills on the Dinkholder Bach. The mills were first mentioned in 1277 as property of the Cistercian monastery in Eberbach in the Rheingau; The sale of these three mills in 1278 by the Osterspaier brothers to the Eberbach Abbey is also documented.
