Hiking

There those von Dechow and von Zanthier, who owned the manor house in town, were buried. The chapel was built in 1797 in the classical style by the wife of Joachim Christoph von Dechow, née Schmiterlow. The architect was probably Carl Theodor Severin (1763-1836). This was one of the most famous architects of classicism around Mecklenburg. His buildings particularly shape Bad Doberan and Heiligendamm.
