The moat of the former electoral residence of the Mainz archbishops adjoins the Gensfleisch houses. In addition, the Bechtermünz farm is only a stone's throw away. These are all closely related to the story of Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press. A city tour or walking down the information signs is highly recommended. Other highlights are the Langwerther Hof, the Catholic parish church of St. Peter and Paul, Crass Castle, Mattheus Müller Villa, Sebastiansturm, the Rose House and the Eltzer Hof.
