A visit is only possible as part of a guided tour. From the outside, the manor chapel in Breese im Bruche makes a simple impression. The renaissance-style building was built in 1592 by the Grote family from Brees and served both as an estate chapel and as a family burial place. The interior of the chapel is particularly remarkable and worth seeing. An artistically designed painting stretches across the entire wooden vaulted ceiling of the church. You can see scenes from the Old Testament, prophets and apostles as well as the coats of arms of the ancestors of the founding couple of the chapel, Otto Grote and Elisabeth von Holle. The chapel is still privately owned and can therefore only be visited as part of a guided tour from April to October.Source: region-wendland.de/slösungen/gutskapelle-breese-im-bruche
