This 19th-century Grade I listed building was designed by Edward Garbett in the 13th century early English style, choosing Salisbury Cathedral as his pattern.

Part of the Church of England, this Anglican church was consecrated in 1832 by the Bishop of Salisbury, in whose diocese it then stood.

Imposing church on the way out of Theale towards the A4, on a much smaller scale its resemblance with the Salisbury cathedral is quite noticeable.

Its vaulted ceiling and ornate organ are some of the most striking features inside.
