The home stretch, a final short day a la the Champs- Elysees. Some time to reflect: England is really beautiful, but not the most suited country for bike packing. You can do it, but sometimes you'll have to take a road where cars are flying by 80 to 100kmh. Of course you can avoid this when you drive over rougher terrain. Food wise, well I think we can agree you don't come to England for the food. But the views are great, you can find campings everywhere, there is lovely nature and a lot of villages, cities and buildings that give the feeling this country is really old. Personally: I again overestimated the amount of stuff I needed, I need to learn to pack less. That would make the biking lighter as well. It was also the final tour with this bike, which in the words of the mechanic (3 days before this trip) is written off and should be replaced instead of repaired. So, goodbye to my Cube and looking forward to the next adventure and a new bike. First some rest though
