The Mundo River is one of the most important rivers in the province of Albacete. Its birth is produced from a series of springs that flow from the limestone rocks of the natural park. These springs form a waterfall known as the "Cascada de los Batanes". From its source, the river covers a distance of approximately 130 kilometers to its mouth at the Segura River, in Murcia.
