The salt marsh path is doable with a dog!!!! However, the dog must be kept on a leash. A detour to the floating moor is the only thing that is not possible with a dog. Since the viewing platform of the moor is only a few meters from the path, you can take turns and go there separately. We did the path with a dog without any problems.

The salt marsh adventure trail in Sehestedt leads from the dyke entrance at the "Floating Moor" through the salt marshes to the Wadden Sea of the Jade Bay via Sehestedt back. On the 5km long circular trail, which can be walked in around 1.5 to 2 hours, information boards provide information about the natural history of the Jade Bay.
