The salt marsh path is doable with a dog!!!! However, the dog must be kept on a leash. A detour to the floating moor is the only thing that is not possible with a dog. Since the viewing platform of the moor is only a few meters from the path, you can take turns and go there separately. We did the path with a dog without any problems.
