This short section of disused tramway, which overlooks the largest of Dartmoor’s reservoirs (Burrator Reservoir), is part of a much larger network of now disused granite tramways.

A trail that runs above one of the roads that leads in/out of Burrator. No gates to slow you down & a largely good surface that is rideable even in the wettest of weather! Transitions from what seems like an old railway line into a wooded section and then over a bridge as you head north.
Brilliant views over the reservoir to your right (if riding north).
Watch out at the northern end of the segment as the trail crosses over a road. With no visibility, be sure to slow right down here.
