    Beauty spot on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Nice rolling roads either side of the bridge and spectacular views back across Plymouth on a sunny day.

    This lovely old stone bridge is actually a bit of a hotspot in this tranquil part of Dartmoor. Not only is the bridge itself lovely to look at and has spanned the River Plym for generations, but it’s also an excellent spot for a swim in the river.

    During the summer, you’ll likely find an ice cream van in the car park here and possibly lots of people if it’s the school holidays or a weekend. Nevertheless, it’s a wonderful spot and well worth seeing. The river gets deeper a little downstream.
