beautiful castle built in 1782 by barons von Thüngen. Before there was a moated castle here. Please respect the privacy of the residents and any prohibition signs. The New Castle in Zeitlofs lost its political importance a few years after it was completed in 1782. In 1803 Bavaria and Hesse began to fight over the Thüngensche Cent. In 1814 Zeitlofs finally fell to Bavaria.

Zeitlofs Castle in Zeitlofs from 1782 was one of the castles and formerly the residence of the Thüngen family.
