beautiful castle built in 1782 by barons von Thüngen. Before there was a moated castle here. Please respect the privacy of the residents and any prohibition signs. The New Castle in Zeitlofs lost its political importance a few years after it was completed in 1782. In 1803 Bavaria and Hesse began to fight over the Thüngensche Cent. In 1814 Zeitlofs finally fell to Bavaria.
