The south side of the Gangolfsberg is known for the Teufelskeller and basalt prism wall geotopes, but there are also extensive large scree heaps / block heaps nearby, where an advanced form of weathering can be explored. At the same time, the rock is heavily covered with moss, which, depending on the incidence of light, brings about interesting green color plays.
