Rocky Trail Along the Cliffs of Naturpark Südeifel

Already very overgrown, but a path that you should definitely take with you

a really great way to take with you, even if it is a bit too overgrown

At Hälbach / Waldhofbach, a path branches off directly below the rocks in the direction of Ferschweiler/Prümzurlay. It is signposted as hiking trail 59 and 61. I find that section very interesting. However, it could use some TLC at one point or another. A tree lies across that you have to go under or over somehow and in some places beech saplings are already growing in the path. Otherwise, a great route to extend the already strenuous hike through the Teufelsschlucht a bit. My tip: follow this path to the end until you see the country road on the other side of a gorge. Then down to Prüm and follow the hop field to the mouth of the Hälbach. Follow this uphill. very nice!
