On its way to the water towers at the Rotes Tor, the Lochbach discharges water into the Aumühlbach, the Neuer Graben, and the Alter Floßgraben streams. It, in turn, receives spring water from the Südlicher Mühlbach, the Mühlbach, the Ölbach, and the Brunnenbach.
